Anna is an accomplished violinist, singer, theatre maker and movement artist, and has performed and premiered original work internationally.

With a background in classical voice and violin, Anna retrained in theatre performance practice at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, seeking a deeper understanding of the craft of stage performance.

Since then, she has worked to adapt actor movement techniques for musicians, helping them develop a more acute awareness of how their body connects with their creative practice. Eventually she hopes to address widespread anxiety issues underlying much classical musical performance practice.

Anna was recently selected as a Movement Artist for Opera North’s “Singing School” initiative, working to transform the futures of children growing up in one of the most deprived parts of the UK through intensive singing and movement practice. An interest in the healing and transformational power of creative and physical practices underlies all of Anna’s work, whether performance, coaching or teaching hot yoga.
